Release Information for TMS - version 14.0 - Release Date: August 13, 2018
Introduction
This document describes the changes that have been made in this release of the TMS system. Please make sure to read this entire document and make any changes to your processes and procedures as necessary.
Additional Products Needed
This version of the TMS can be used with the Media Adaptation Tool (MAT) version 6.0.3 and above.
Functionality Incorporated into this Release
This release incorporates the following changes:
Restrict Access to Title Treatments
Feature Description
Administrators can restrict users to only be able to access core assets that belong to a specific category
Who Does This Affect?
Users who can download core assets.
What Does this Mean to Me?
As an administrator you can select the access categories for a User.
As a User with that restriction you will only see the assets tagged with the specific category, for example 'Title Treatments'.
Notify Legal on Title Change
Feature Description
'Legal' approvers are now notified when any changes are made to a title translation.
Who Does This Affect?
Legal Users.
What Does this Mean to Me?
You will be notified under the following conditions:
- When a title has been created
- When a title has been translated by territory*
- When a title translation has been approved/rejected by WDSMPI*
- When a title translation has been revised by territory*
*Note that this only applies to the country-languages which have a country with the Legal approval flag.
Add Extra Save Button
Feature Description
A Save button has been added to the top of the Add/Edit Title page.
Who Does This Affect?
Administrators/Power Users
What Does this Mean to Me?
When adding or editing a title a Save button is now shown at the top and bottom of the page to help with the usability.
System Backend Updates
Feature Description
All the backend systems have been upgraded to their latest versions.
Who Does This Affect?
No visible effect on the users.
What Does this Mean to Me?
The system now incorporates all the relevant latest versions of the backend software, including any security patches.
