Release Information for TMS - version 13.6.0 - Release Date: March, 2017

This document describes the changes that have been made in this release of the TMS system. Please make sure to read this entire document and make any changes to your processes and procedures as necessary.

This version of the TMS can be used with the Media Adaptation Tool (MAT) version 6.0.3 and above.

This release one major new feature - Master Phrases.

Master Phrases

Feature Description

Master phrases allow terms to be defined and translated even when the asset does not exist.

Who Does This Affect?

Administrators/Power Users/Translators/Territory Users (with ordering permission)

What Does this Mean to Me?

Master phrases are phrases that are expected to be used in the jobs in the campaign, but the actual assets for the jobs are not yet available. By manually adding the phrases into the system and then creating an 'empty' job without the asset, the operators can get the phrases translated in advance so that the translations are ready to use as soon as the asset is ready.

Making the job available for ordering allows the territory user to provide the translations at the same time as placing the order - or directly after - so that they are available when the asset is connected to the job via MAT.
