Release Information for TMS - version 13.4.0 - Release Date: July-August, 2016

Introduction

This document describes the changes that have been made in this release of the TMS system. Please make sure to read this entire document and make any changes to your processes and procedures as necessary.

Additional Products Needed

This version of the TMS can be used with the Media Adaptation Tool (MAT) version 6.0.3 and above.

Functionality Incorporated into this Release

This release incorporates several enhancements to functionality and bug fixes.

Analytics

Feature Description

Show analytics about the campaigns and jobs within the system.

Who Does This Affect?

Administrators/Power Users

What Does this Mean to Me?

A new Analytics tab is available on the menu bar. Clicking this tab will show a set of Quick Statistics about the campaigns, titles, translations and users within the system. Further reports and graphs are available by selecting one or more campaigns to view, for example, the number of jobs per campaign. The charts are exportable as an image or as a data table for further processing in Excel. A jobs chart can be filtered to show jobs created within a date range or filtered by country or language.

PDF and XLS Versions of the Title Report

Feature Description

The title report can now be downloaded or sent in PDF and XLS formats.

Who Does This Affect?

Administrators sending title reports and the recipients of the reports.

What Does this Mean to Me?

The Create Report page now includes options to include the PDF and XLS versions of the report as well as the ability to directly download the files. Note that the HTML version is still included when the report is sent.

Element Usage

Feature Description

Elements can now be classified by their usage: Indoor, Outdoor or Ad.

Who Does This Affect?

Administrators and territory users.

What Does this Mean to Me?

When an administrator adds an element to a job they will be able to select the usage type (defaults to Indoor). The intended usage is shown on the Manage Jobs page and also on the Sizes page when a territory user orders the element. The territory user can change the intended usage when they order the element, but this can be overridden by the administrator.

Hide Jobs Not Ordered

Feature Description

By default, the ordering process only shows the jobs that are newly available to the territories.

Who Does This Affect?

Territory users ordering jobs.

What Does this Mean to Me?

When jobs are made available to order they will appear on the Select Job Sets page of the ordering process (Place Order). After you have viewed the available jobs and placed any orders, these will then be automatically hidden so that the next time around you will only be presented with any new jobs. To see any previous jobs, click the Show All Jobs option on the Select Job Sets page.

Feature Description

The Ordering > Sizes page now displays the element details and usage.

Who Does This Affect?

Territory users ordering assets.

What Does this Mean to Me?

When ordering assets, the Sizes page now displays the element details and the recommended usage. The Usage field can be overriden to indicate a change of usage.

Job Type Reduction

Feature Description

The number of job types for new jobs has been reduced to only four: Portrait, Landscape, Square, Billing Block.

What Does this Mean to Me?

When you add a new job set to a campaign, the available types will be restricted to: Portrait, Landscape, Square, Billing Block. All existing elements belonging to the old job types have been migrated to the new options.

Copy Comments from Proofing Tool

Feature Description

Allow text to be copied from the comments in the proofing tool.

What Does this Mean to Me?

You can now select the text in the Comments pane of the Proofing Tool and use right-click or ctrl/cmd+C to copy the text to the clipboard.

Internal Review Indication

Feature Description

Highlight that assets are in the Output Assets Uploaded state in the proofing tool.

Who Does This Affect?

Administrators/Power Users

What Does this Mean to Me?

When assets are in the Output Assets Uploaded state, i.e. not yet ready for territory review, the Proofing Tool now includes a red "For Internal Review Only" banner that spans the window.

Delete Previous Versions of Proofs

Feature Description

Allow the user to delete previous versions of a proof.

Who Does This Affect?

Administrators/Power Users

What Does this Mean to Me?

In the Assets list, click the delete button and you will be prompted to delete either All Versions or Latest Version. Uploading a new asset after deleting the latest one will re-use the deleted assets' version number.
