Introduction

This document describes the changes that have been made in this release of the TMS system. Please make sure to read this entire document and make any changes to your processes and procedures as necessary.

Additional Products Needed

This version of the TMS can be used with the Media Adaptation Tool (MAT) version 6.0.3 and above.

Functionality Incorporated into this Release

This release incorporates important new security features to support watermarked previews and teasers for campaign assets.

Watermarking Assets

Feature Description

Administrators can now choose to watermark campaign assets and set a debut date for when the watermarking should be removed.

Who Does This Affect?

Administrators.

What Does this Mean to Me?

There is a new flag on the campaign that indicates whether a watermark can be applied to the campaign assets or not. If selected, individual job assets can be flagged as watermarked which will cause those assets to be displayed with a personalized watermark on all previews and proofs.

An optional Debut Date field on the asset will cause a notification to be sent to the assigned Account Handler when the watermark is due to be removed. Note that the watermark removal is a manual process, if the debut date is reached the watermark will still remain until the flag is reset on the asset.

Online Debut Date Dashboard

Feature Description

A new dashboard is available to administrators and account handlers that shows all the assets with watermarks applied and also, where applicable, their debut date.

Who Does This Affect?

Administrators and Account Handlers.

What Does this Mean to Me?

The Online Debut Dates dashboard view displays all jobs in the system which have an Online Debut Date set. Jobs are shown by campaign, highlighting those where the debut date is today or overdue. From the dashboard page the system also makes it easy to quickly edit the Online Debut Date for jobs, or to update jobs selected to no longer require a watermark to be shown.

Watermarked Assets

Feature Description

Administrators can now choose to watermark campaign assets.

Who Does This Affect?

All users accessing campaign assets - including recipients of sent assets.

What Does this Mean to Me?

If a job has been watermarked, when you access the campaign and view any previews or proofs you will find that the asset is shown with a watermark that is personalized to you, including your name and a unique ID.

If you send the asset to a user external to the system, the recipient will receive an asset with a watermark that is branded with their email address.

Note that only administrators can download the watermarked assets until the assets are approved.

Activation Requests

Feature Description

Prevent newly registered users from requesting reactivation and prevent users from repeatedly requesting access.

Who Does This Affect?

Administrators.

What Does this Mean to Me?

Newly registered users who have not yet been granted access to the system will not see the 're-activate my account' link.

The Reactivation Requests dashboard for Users has been renamed to Activation requests and now includes both a Re-activate and a Remove Request button. The Re-activate button allows you to grant permission to access the system to previously active users who have requested re-activation; the Remove Request button deletes the request from the dashboard and effectively blocks them from re-requesting access.

Note: It is is still possible to re-activate a user even if their request has been denied (removed).
