Functionality Incorporated into this Release

This release incorporates enhancements to simplify how new users are assigned to titles and campaigns plus several other minor changes.

Title Translations: All Capital Letters Version

Feature Description

An all-capitals version of the title translation is now required.

Who Does This Affect?

Title translators, approvers and administrators.

What Does this Mean to Me?

If you are providing a translation for a title you must now also provide a version in capital letters into the Local Translation (ALL CAPS) field).

If you are providing a title translation approval you should now also check that the translation provided in capital letters (shown as Caps: xxxxx is correct.

For administrators you just need to note that the new all-caps version is now available on the site and also in the reports.

Assign New Users to Titles and Core Assets

Feature Description

New users can now be assigned to current titles and campaigns in a single process rather than having to add the user to the individual titles and campaigns.

Who Does This Affect?

Administrators only.

What Does this Mean to Me?

Previously, users with the necessary default permissions were automatically assigned to new titles and campaigns as they were created, but to add a new user to existing titles and campaigns you had to add the user to each of them individually. You can now view the users access profile and modify it to add the user to the necessary titles and campaigns to provide them with the necessary levels of access.

To change the permissions for a user, from the Manage Users tab, click the View User Access Profile button in the Actions column for the relevant user and then edit the details on the page that is displayed.

Warn User if Deactivated

Feature Description

Users who have been deactivated and can no longer access their TMS account are now presented with a specific warning.

Who Does This Affect?

All users

What Does this Mean to Me?

If your account has been deactivated by an administrator and you try to access the TMS you will be given the following message:

Your account has been deactivated.
Please click to contact the administrator if you require access.

Click the link and then enter your details to submit a reactivation request. The Administrators will be sent a notification that you wish to reactivate your account.

Administrators: A new sub-tab has been added to the Manage Users section - Reactivation Requests - that allows you to process the reactivation requests.

Button Positions Changed in Proofing Tool

Feature Description

The Send Comments button has been relocated to be above the comments and the Approve/Reject buttons have been moved further away from the Close Window button.

Who Does This Affect?

All users who use the proofing tool.

What Does this Mean to Me?

No change to the functionality, just that the button positions have changed.
