Release Information for TMS - version 12.0.0 - Release Date: February 28, 2015
Introduction
This document describes the changes that have been made in this release of the TMS system. Please make sure to read this entire document and make any changes to your processes and procedures as necessary.
Additional Products Needed
This version of the TMS can be used with the Media Adaptation Tool (MAT) version 6.0.3 and above.
Functionality Incorporated into this Release
This release incorporates a new HTML5 version of the proofing tool and output asset uploader.
New Proofing Tool
Feature Description
The Proofing Tool has been replaced with an HTML5 version.
Who Does This Affect?
Anyone proofing assets.
What Does this Mean to Me?
The new Proofing Tool is supported in all modern browsers. It operates in a similar manner to the old proofing tool, although the layout is slightly different. For details of how to use the new tool see the online Help or a helpful guide is available from the system administrators.
The Proofing Tool will not work in non-HTML 5 compliant browsers.
New Output Asset Uploader
Feature Description
The Output Asset Uploader has been replaced with an HTML5 version.
Who Does This Affect?
Anyone uploading output assets.
What Does this Mean to Me?
The uploader is now supported in all modern browsers. Assets can now be dragged into the uploader rather than click and select. Chrome users can drag in folders to upload multiple assets - note that the assets will be uploaded into a flat structure it will not recreate the folder structure.
File uploads into Output Assets will no longer work in non-HTML 5 compliant browsers.
