Additional Products Needed

This version of the TMS can be used with the Media Adaptation Tool (MAT) version 6.0.3 and above.

Functionality Incorporated into this Release

The following features and enhancements are included in this release:

To Do/Done View - Translator/Approver

Two new views are now available for translators and approvers from the Dashboard tab:

For either view you can order the tasks by date or campaign.

To Do/Done View - Account Handler/MAT Operator

Two new reference views are now available for account handlers and MAT operators from the Dashboard tab:

For either view you can order the tasks by date or campaign. If the task applies to all countries defined for a job then a gray country flag will be shown.

Note that you must have been assigned as either the Account Handler or MAT Operator for a job in order for it to appear in your list.

MAT Operators View - Account Handler/MAT Operator

The MAT Operators view, available from the Dashboard tab, allows the Account Handler to manage the jobs under their control and easily swap resources as priorities change. Using this view the Account Handlers can:

MAT Operators can also use the view to see all the jobs to which they have been assigned.

Note that to see this view you must be either an Administrator or a Power User.

Proofing Enhancements

The following enhancements have been made to the proofing functionality:

Expandable Comments Box

When reviewing assets you can now expand the Comments box to show more text.

Zoom to Arbitrary Zoom Factor

You can now enter an amount into the Zoom Level field to view the asset at a specified zoom percentage. Note that only PDFs can be zoomed beyond 100%.

Recent Campaigns Enhancements

The following changes have been made to the Recent Campaigns page:

Select Destination for Campaign

You can now click on the campaign name and select the relevant part of the campaign that you want to access: Core Assets, Manage Jobs, Translate or Edit Settings.

Note that the options available depend on your access permissions.

Campaign List Changes

The complete campaign list on the left now includes a filter that allows you to restrict the list of campaigns shown. For example, typing 'tr' in the field will filter the list to show Lady and the Tramp and Tron.

Default Landing Page

It is now possible to set any page within the system as your 'landing page' for when you log into the system. This will be the first page that is shown to you when you log in. For example, if you always access a set of campaign core assets you can set that page to be your landing page, of if you want the new To Do page to be the first you can set that page.

To set your landing page, navigate to the page you want to be shown when you log in and then click the Set as Landing Page link at the top right of the screen. To change the page just navigate to a different page and click the same link.

Export Translations

The Translate page now includes an Export Translations button that allows you to export the complete set of campaign translations for the currently selected language. The exported data includes any source phrases that have not yet been translated. The data is saved as an xls file.

Auto Create Campaign Thumbnail

In some circumstances, a campaign logo/thumbnail may not be available when you first create a campaign. In this case, instead of a blank image, the system will automatically create a thumbnail with the name of the campaign; this is to help identify the campaign. The thumbnail can be replaced at any time with the proper campaign image.

Help

A new Help link at the top right of the screen provides a link to a set of online help documentation. The help includes a table of contents to help identify the relevant section.

Report Data for Menus

New reporting fields allow administrators of menu projects to create reports that include the number of proofs and pages. This means that they can create reports that show the number of menus translated and approved.

Campaign Already Exists Error (GGV-815-19526)

Previously, editing a campaign with an invalid thumbnail caused an error resulting in a duplicated campaign. This has now been fixed.
