Who Does This Affect?

All users.

What Does this Mean to Me?

When you click on the Campaigns or Titles tabs the first page that will be displayed is the Your Most Recently Viewed Campaigns/Titles view. This is to help you quickly find the campaigns or titles that you most frequently use. A sidebar also provides quick access to a complete list of the campaigns or titles.

Note that after this upgrade has been installed, your last ten campaigns/titles will be blank until you have accessed one or more campaigns, the campaigns/titles will then start to be shown on the page as you access them.

The grid and list views are still available - just click the Grid or List buttons at the top of the page.

Easy Search

Feature/Enhancement

All users.

What Does this Mean to Me?

A new Quick Search field has been introduced in the header bar. If you are within the Titles section this will allow you to search for a title by just entering the first few characters of the title name and then selecting the title you want to view; if you are in any other section this will allow you to search for a campaign by just entering the the first few characters of the campaign name and then selecting the campaign you want to view.

Render Farm

Feature/Enhancement

Allow multiple assets to be processed at once to speed up the render queue.

Who Does This Affect?

Administrators and power users.

What Does this Mean to Me?

Instead of using a single render server that processes all the assets from each of the systems, there is now a render farm with multiple server. This allows parallel processing of the assets and therefore will speed up processing of the queue. The queue position is now no longer relevant so this has been removed from the Render Monitor view.

The render farm will automatically adjust the number of tiles for each image based on the dimensions of the source asset. This means that assets with smaller dimensions will be quicker to process and view.

Mark Phrase as Not Required

Feature/Enhancement

Some phrases in the source asset may not be required in all languages. This functionality allows the administrator or translator to mark a phrase as not required for translation in a particular language so that it does not appear in the phrases requiring translation count and therefore does not prevent the Translations Complete button from being pressed.

Who Does This Affect?

Administrators, power users and anyone assigned as a translator for a job.

What Does this Mean to Me?

When viewing the Translate page for a campaign, you can now click the Not Required button for a phrase. This will mark the phrase as not being required for translation and therefore will not show as requiring attention or in the translation count. If the phrase is later required then you can just click the Required button to be able to enter the translation and send it back to MAT. The milestones will be updated accordingly.

Note that if you set the phrase to Not Required, MAT will still report that the phrase has been translated, as a blank phrase will be returned to MAT.
